Pairs well with

Applications & Use Cases

  • Prototyping & Product Development
  • Economically viable for small production runs because of low tooling costs.
  • Color mix testing
  • Material experimentation
  • ASTM tensile specimen production
  • Custom replacement parts and repair components
  • Educational Programs

Competitive Advantages

  • At a fraction of the cost of industrial machines, Vantage makes injection molding accessible to businesses and individuals previously priced out of the market
  • Unlike traditional injection molding machines requiring dedicated factory space, Vantage fits on standard workbenches in offices, workshops, or garages
  • Promotes lean manufacturing and minimal waste generation through precise material control and local production capabilities
  • Quick setup, rapid mold changes, and in-house production eliminate outsourcing delays, enabling faster product iteration

Machine Dimensions & Power

  • Desktop-compatible design requiring just 4 ft × 1 ft of workspace. Footprint: 43" H × 10" L × 15" W
  • Power requirement: Standard 115VAC wall outlet (750W average, 1600W peak consumption)
  • Injection volume: 1.83 cu-in (30 cu-cm) maximum shot size
  • Clamping force: 3 tons
  • Maximum processing temperature: 600°F (315°C)
  • Standard mold size: 6.0" H × 4.8" W (15.24 cm × 12.19 cm)
  • Tie bar clearance: 5" (12.7 cm)
  • Average cycle time: 20 seconds
  • Processes thermoplastic materials with a Melt Flow Rate (MFR) of 3 g/10 min or higher (ASTM D1238 standard)
  • Recommended materials: Polypropylene (PP), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO), Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE)

Molds

  • Mold changeover takes approximately 15 minutes, supporting agile manufacturing and rapid product iteration. The machine accommodates both shoulder-bolt-mounted molds and claw-mounted systems, with or without ejector pins
  • The injector accepts metal molds (aluminum or steel) and 3D-printed molds for ultra-low-cost prototyping. Blank aluminum molds are available for custom machining, or users can source pre-made molds to their specifications

Maintenance Requirements

  • Periodic lubrication every 500 hours of operation: synthetic 10W-30 oil for sliding bushings

Safety

  • E-STOP emergency shutoff button on control panel
  • Personal protective equipment required: safety goggles or face shield, heat-resistant gloves, safety shoes, and non-synthetic fiber clothing
